Thirty-three years ago the Cecil Ray Scholarship began under the inspiration of Mrs. M. Tacoma Maupin and Mrs. Ruth Ray. This wonderful scholarship now operates under the name, “Maupin-Ray Scholarship Fund”. To keep the memory of this legacy ongoing, we continue to solicit the support of businesses and individuals for this worthy program.
Educational expenses and tuition costs have always limited opportunities for many students to take advantage of a superior education offered at E. L. Minnis Jr. Academy. Local businesses, the Minnis Alumni Association, and other organizations have partnered with us in providing additional funds for the school. Because of the generous donations from previous years, we were able to grant the requests of all families complying with the stipulated requirements.
All contributions are tax deductible. An official receipt will be provided. Thank you in advance for helping students receive a quality education in a safe and positive environment. May God bless you.
